Financial Aid Requirements
Parent/Guardian must fill out the Family Financial Worksheet and agree to the Financial Aid Requirements, here listed, to qualify for financial aid parents/guardians will receive an award letter confirming their student’s aid package.
To verify eligibility, parents must provide their most recent Tax return 1040 and fill out the Family Financial Worksheet so the student aid can go to the families that need it most.
Money for student aid comes from free will donations from the members of the Moses Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church here on this campus. Our goal is excellence in Adventist Education. This is a private school and with privileges comes responsibilities.
Because of the investment of other people’s money into your students’ education we would like to have parents agree to the following terms.
My student(s) will not miss more than 2 days per month, except for illness or emergencies.
My student(s) will not be tardy more than 2 times per month, except for emergencies.
If we are willing to meet your student(s) financial needs, you must invest close attention to the students’ attendance requirements. Children who have excessive unexcused Tardies (over 2 tardies per month) or Absences (Over 2 days per month) are at risk of losing their student aid.
Washington State Compulsory school attendance law RCW 28A.225 requires school aged students to be in school full time, every day, unless there is a valid excuse to be absent. When a student misses school, for any reason, it can be difficult to keep up academically.
Parents/Guardians of students should model respectful behaviors to staff, teachers, and other parents and students.
Parents/Guardians should partner with teachers to make sure academic work is completed in a timely manner.
Parents should make sure their child is at school functions. We are partnering with your family for your child’s successful future.
NOTE: All financial aid is given out on a first come, first served basis.
